Polaris Management AS, the Denmark based private equity firm, has acquired a majority stake in Vinnergi Aktiebolag, the Sweden based engineering consultancy group, from Sobro AB, the Sweden based family office, that invests in Swedish companies, and other shareholders. As part of the transaction, the management and employees of Vinnergi have reinvested in the company. Sobro became an ownership partner in Maintrac in 2017 when the company had a turnover of SEK 131m. In 2018, Maintrac merged with We Consulting, to create Vinnergi.
