Orbex closes GBP 40.4m Series C funding

Orbital Express Launch (aka Orbex), the UK based space startup that develops small payload reusable rockets, has raised GBP 40.4m in a Series C funding round from BGF Group Plc, Octopus Ventures Ltd, Heartcore Capital A/S, High-Tech Gründerfonds, the Scottish National Investment Bank, Jacobs Engineering Group Inc., the US based company that provides a broad range of technical, professional, and construction services, Danish Green Future Fund, the Denmark based energy fund managed by the Danish Government, Verve Ventures, the Switzerland based European startup investment platform, and private investors Phillip and James Chambers.
