The Riverside Company, the UK based international private equity firm, has acquired Townsend Holdings LLC (ta The Townsend Group), the US based provider of global real estate and real asset investment advisory services, from Aon Public Limited Company (aka Aon plc), the Ireland, UK and US based professional services and management consulting firm. As part of the transaction, a group of investors co-invested alongside Riverside, including Bluerock Capital Markets, LLC, the US based institutional alternative asset management firm, MLC Investments Limited (ta MLC Asset Management), the Australia based investment management firm (via MLC Private Equity), and Ten Capital Management, the US based real estate investment management company.
