IK Investment Partners Limited, the UK based private equity firm, has acquired Checkmate Fire, the UK based passive fire protection specialists, supplying a comprehensive range of third-party accredited services across the healthcare, education, government, social housing and commercial sectors, from YFM Equity Partners Ltd, the UK based specialist private equity fund manager. The management of Checkmate Fire has reinvested in the company as part of the transaction.
