Goldman Sachs Alternatives to become majority shareholder in Crystal

Goldman Sachs Asset Management International, the UK based investment management firm, has acquired a majority stake in Groupe Crystal SA, the France based independent wealth management services and product provider, from Seven2 (fka Apax Partners), the France based private equity firm. The transaction values the company at around EUR 900m. OFI Asset Management, the France based asset management company, has exited its investment in the company, while Seven2 reinvested alongside Goldman Sachs. Following the transaction Goldman Sachs will own an round 60% stake, alongside Seven2 with a 25% stake, and Crystals management team (led by Bruno Narchal and Jean-Maximilien Vancayezeele) with a 15% stake.
