Nordic Capital AB, the Sweden based private equity firm, has acquired a majority stake in Zafin, the Canada based provider of SaaS core modernization and transformation solutions for financial institutions around the world, from Beedie Investments Ltd (aka Beedie Capital), the Canada based multi-strategy direct investment platform, Vistara Growth, the Canada based company, that provides flexible growth capital solutions, and Accenture Ventures, the venture arm of Accenture PLC, the Ireland based multinational company. The founders including Al Karim Somji, and the management of Zafine have reinvested in the company as part of the transaction.
